Dr. Kimberly Whitchard, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and trained to deal with a wide variety of problems and every day concerns such as depression, anxiety, relationship problems, eating problems, smoking cessation and more.
Dr. Whitchard has owned and operated Gulf Coast Counseling Services for 10 years. She has been providing psychotherapy for the last 21 years in various settings and with all types of clients. She received her Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Auburn University in 1992. She obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling from Purdue University in 1987, and her Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University (Cum Laude) in 1984. While she practices from a generalist’s foundation, Dr. Whitchard has established a number of specialties in her practice. She has special training in hypnosis, eating disorders, anxiety, relationship issues, ADHD, behavioral problems and smoking cessation. She and her husband of 22 years have lived in Foley for the last 12 years. She is committed to the practice of psychology, and to helping you reach your dreams and realize your true potential.
